Western Scrub Jay

I caught a fleeting glimpse of a Scrub Jay several times while at the Grand Canyon so felt fortunate to capture this one this morning while we tackled another stretch of the Rim Trail. 

Our stay at the canyon couldn’t have been better, but like all good things, it has come to an end and we have moved on to another location, where the temperatures are a little warmer, and there is a greater selection of restaurants.  We’ve just returned from a superb dinner at a French restaurant.  Looking forward to another day of hiking and photography tomorrow.
