I got some great news today - I've been selected as one of the 20 artists to do the 20for20 friends of anchor project. so I'll be painting a 5-6ft anchor for the next two months that will go on display somewhere in the ne and then auctioned to raise money for cancer care. I'm so chuffed and was a bit teary when the lady phoned - I've never applied to do something like this so it was nerve racking and I've been nervy email watching for two weeks. there were over 60 entrants. I'm looking forward to getting the anchor next week.

the day has been sad too as I heard shonagh hasn't been good. so I want this anchor to raise as much as possible even more.
