Toadpoles

Largely a work day, but some time off to haul the spare fish tank to the bottom of the garden and fill it with water ready for these (and TallGirl's separate batch of) wrigglers to be moved to their new home when we go on holiday.

They seem to be enjoying their diet of cooked lettuce. Yes, I am now cooking for baby amphibians.

And before the weekend I will have to go and ask a neighbour to accept a bag of frozen lettuce and the responsibility of feeding our tadpoles while we're away.

This whole tadpole thing was not my idea.
