Around Ullswater

Another truly stunning day in the Lakes. Headed off to Ullswater. Took a stroll around Aira Force and then wandered over Gowbarrow towards Yew Crag for a lovely view down Ullswater towards Glenridding (extras). I then parked at Glencoyne and walked up the beck before returning through the woodland behind the hamlet of Seldom Seen. I wasn't sure whether this was the name of the hamlet or a reference to the red squirrels who conspicuous by their absence! Dropped into Glenridding to pick up some lunch and then parked up at Cow Bridge for a walk to Brothers Water and back from where the blip was taken.
