High Noon
It's that time of year.
The sun, at it's noon time zenith, barely breaks the horizon. It's dark. It's cold. It's unrelenting.
This is the time when we go out... out of the state to get some warmth.
I will be back in the desert next week. I am going to find those fabulous sunsets that BikerJim catches in Tucson... or at least I'm going to find some cactus!
I'm going to soak up the sun like a toad... 'til I pop!
That will be a great start of the new year!
~edit~ Oh, btw, it's -29 C here. My digital camera continued working. My iphone went belly up in the cold, but was later resuscitated by the fire.
