Guardian of the rhubarb
Mothers Day. N and I joined K's parents at T and K's house for Sunday lunch. The day was warm and sunny and after the meal we went to inspect the garden and found a whole load of rhubarb to be pulled! The basketfull was only half of the pickings so there was enough for the three families to enjoy.
T had a successful morning in achieving the sale of our drill to a farmer who had driven all the way down from Shropshire. He was originally a Welshman but owned up to his loss of the language. He said any word starting with "ll" got him in a confusion so he tended to stay this side of the border!
The extra is a photograph of our tulips in flower.
