Bottles of Bygone Days!

We got the opportunity to feed the calves this evening and then collect some eggs from the hen house which the kids loved! In the milking shed, the farmer has a collection of these old milk bottles which I think are fantastic!

Do people still get milk in bottles like this anymore? We have a milkman but our bottles are plain which is a pity. It seems a missed marketing opportunity but I guess it comes down to most people getting their milk from the supermarket these days. An example of modern day not being an improvement on the past? Certainly from a visual perspective.
