The wallpapering-brush seems a good choice. I've taken the skin off my knuckles when using my normal indoor dustpan-brush on tarmac, so have been lookin for something else. Oddly, the bristles are firmer than the masonry paintbrush; it's almost as springy as a proper whisk broom, but fits handily in the same wee side pocket I keep my D-lock in.
