Last Day Trip....

....of the school 6 week break and we went to Castle Acre to visit the priory and the castle. We being me, the husband, and the A team - Asha & Arwen :)

What an absolutely beautiful place the priory is. It's spectacular in ruins, so I can imagine it looked utterly magnificent in it's prime. The castle is also impressive, on the top of a hill so the views were amazing. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon which ended with us going to Pizza Hut for our dinner.
