Ploughing the lonely furrow ........

A dry warm spring day , slightly different from 3 or 4 days ago !
The herd busy emptying ewes and lambs out the sheds to fields and I spent the afternoon spreading fertilizer on some more grass fields. Managed 80 acres before I had to stop and start feeding cattle again.
The contractor in busy ploughing some of the barley ground . It is turning up quite dry. Might start getting excited about seeding soon ( if there is no more snow )
A trip to Tesco tonight with Littlemiss for the annual " Mother's Day " panic . The place was mobbed with folk on the same mission . Kerching went the tills !
