A golden swathe

These caught my eye this morning as Russet and I trip tramped over the rickety bridge across the stream to the other side!
A family from Germany come and stay in this cottage every summer for about three weeks. They all come to the village church and enjoy meeting the congregation over coffee after the services. From their cottage they explore south west England - we hope to see them again soon!
