Finishing!
We've had a smashing day orienteering at Leeds Beckett University. We drove over in the morning to help out with a small event which had been set up for children who were attending the Leeds Games and that event neatly segued into an urban race for us grown-ups around the University grounds and neighbouring housing estates.
The weather was lovely which meant folks hung around and caught up with each other. We had a chance to talk New Zealand with Sandy and Henk who had just returned from their adventure in their own Wilderness van, having had a wonderful time. I also had some sound advice from Liz who, it turned out, has cycled the Hebridean Way - you'll be glad to hear we talked knickers!
Once Tony and I had finished our 'jobs' we set off on our runs. The course was well planned with some tricky navigation and it was lovely to be running in the sunshine without extra thermal layers or waterproofs.
This is Tony arriving at the finish in the glorious surroundings of the University buildings.
In other news, we have our return tickets from Skye! All 32 of them!
