Moving Men I Like!

This morning, our youngest son Evan drove a U-Haul trailer down to our Connecticut house from his home in Vermont to pick up some furniture that we are giving to him and his wife. 

Amazingly, that little trailer managed to soak up one huge antique linen press, a double chest of drawers with an armoire top, a queen sized mattress and box spring, a wooden headboard and footboard for the bed, a bedside table, a large rubbish bin, and various other bits and bobs, and it even had a little room to spare!

This moving experience was so much better than the one earlier this week!  Here is Evan on the left, flexing his muscles, and his friend and co-worker Steve, who came along to help.  After they loaded up the trailer, they helped us move some furniture inside the house to fill in gaps left by the things we'd moved to Boston on Wednesday.  Not one nick, gash, gouge, or dent inflicted on any walls or possessions!  I'd hire these two any time!
