things to do on a sunny day

“Did you see Blacktulip’s lawn?  Why can’t our lawn look like that?”

The answer to the first question is simple; “Yes”.   

The second is more complex and invokes, among other things, String Theory, the expanding Universe and the concept of time travel, but which can be simplfied for the lay-person thus; “I haven’t mowed it yet.”

We spend a companionable day giving the garden a spring clean.  And very nice it looks too.

This evening we’re off to a Ceilidh.  Not to dance.  Neither of us dance. At least, not since primary school.  Our job is to keep company a couple of husbands who also ‘don’t dance’.
