Rose-ringed Parakeet (male)

A Rose-ringed Parakeet in spectacular condition, ready to show off his gorgeous green feathers to the females. I have never seen a Parakeet so pristine, I think he knew how good he looks. Funny to think this bird is so common now in London parks! To me it is still an 'exotic'. Many thanks for all your interest in my Purple Heron, he was also in perfect condition and really was a beautiful sight.
