workmans pencil

Now, I don't know what's happened to my ears over the years but I can not now keep a pencil behind them. Years ago, no problems, now my theory is that because I wear a headset at work for ten hours a day then this may be the cause, alternatively perhaps now I'm a little older everything has relaxed a bit more. What ever it is I now have to keep about ten pencils about any job that I work on as they keep on dropping out.

A good day at the house, the final room has been plaster boarded ready for skimming over the next couple of days, then that's me almost finished, just the utility area to do, but that's not urgent and can wait.

Today I bought a new lens for A's camera, it's a long one 30-110 (approx 90-290 - 35mm equivalent) I've been out practising this evening whilst I ruminate about what camera to buy for myself, I had set my heart on a fuji xpro 1 but I've now found out that they are probably going to introduce a new slightly cheaper model after photokina but just to mess with my head I've also found out that Nikon are going to bring out a Fx camera called the D600 ( aaaaargh !!)
