We spent this evening with a young couple Whom we have known for a long time. S once taught at the same school as he did; before he retrained as a lawyer. She was a late starter at university, and has completed a doctorate in anthropology. She is seen here holding a copy of her book "Tupuna Awa". The subtitle is People and politics of the Waikato River.

She gave this copy of her book to S. She was happy to let me use this photo of her as my blip for today.
