New shop in Aalst (Belgium)

Today was a hectic day, just a snapshot of a new shop from a Spanish group on their first opening day, last debriefing of the personnel by the shop manager before they leave the premisses. For years people have asked they opened a shop in the centre of Aalst. Due to road works Aalst is not easily accessible. Will this shop "save" one of our main shopping streets, that's the question. Local businesses stopped or went bankrupt and replaced by mega chains. Most of these stores are selling basically the same stuff. The difference will be in taking care of the customer in a proper way. Perhaps I am ruminating to much...
