Eve had her first class assembly today. I was quietly worried for her as she has been fairly quiet at school so far (understandable as she's only 4) and she doesn't seek out the limelight (yet).

But wow, she blew me away! When it came to her turn to speak, I hoped for her to at least whisper her lines before hiding and was mainly just wondering if she'd cry. None of that! She was clear as a bell, very settled and confident in her own skin. They all were actually and none of them have even hit 5 yet. They all looked to be having lots of fun.

The theme was mums and they'd all prepared a portrait - this is me, looking mighty fine.
