I Think I Did It

I took the big camera out with the macro lens on it this morning.
It was sunny and (very nearly) still.
So I was able to try and get a half decent shot of the wee blossom (not sure what it is).
Despite the dog's objections I spent a few minutes taking a few shots with different angles, backgrounds, apertures and metering systems (half a dozen from here).
I also took some lichen shots four from here) which ClickyChick might like.

Apart from picture taking - other things in the news today......... the kids were doing their best to wind each other up and managing to wind me up in the process) - the surveyor came and measured up the front door in preparation for replacement - my back was trying to kill me (I was wondering if I was going to make it back from the afternoon walk and had to spend quite a time lying on the floor while the drugs kicked in) - and ...... worst of all ....... it turns out that the Acting Commander of the Met. witnessed the murder of PC Keith Palmer and left the scene 'for tactical reasons'. COWARDICE I call it. He can't even claim that he was leading from the back because he did not take command of things!
I was disgusted when I saw him saluting like an American Marine and not a British Police Officer - but to hear that he elected to leave whilst watching a fellow Officer being attacked makes me sick to the stomach.
