Beautiful art, beautiful friend

Spent the day with Connections at the downtown Seattle Art Museum. There was a terrific exhibit of small works by Jacob Lawrence, and works from the collection of Paul Allen that were all about nature.  This is a Thomas Hart Benson painting from that collection.  As always we caught up on each others "doings" as C refers to it, talked about the artwork, and probably talked about everything else under the sun.  Good lunch, good friendship, and a delightful get-together and a nice way to kick of this first week of spring.
