Day 18: The Ent with the Crooked Smile

More characterful in large.

I revisited Monday's reaching trees this morning (there are several of them, and several pics are right from here) and encountered this Ent! I got out a second time in the afternoon, and swung by a stunning Magnolia tree looking glorious in the late sunshine (right from here): the Magnolia is blooming so enthusiastically (I noticed it the other day), and although the sun was low, my timing was fortunate and I found the tree serendipitously illuminated with shadows either side.

It is still such a thrill each time I get to get out.
