Nice social 70 mile cycle on Somerset Levels

Lovely day out - cycled frpm Wellington, up onto the Blackdowns and then onto the Somerset Levels past Muchelney Abbey - a great National Heritage site - The Abbey was destroyed in the dissolution of the Monasteries in 1538, but the Abbot's Benedictine house remains.

Lunch at the Rusty Axe pub and then back over the Blackdowns and home :-)
