Spring at Silverado

Right outside the front door, in front of this bed of pansies, we met a woman who works at the ADH program my mom used to go to. My mom greeted her warmly and with recognition, and then K said how nice my mom looked--well rested, nicely dressed, etc. My mom said that all the people there were very nice, and she said something  like (almost exact words?) "it's better than living at home where I don't have anything to do all day"!

Wow. Then we walked the loop. She did ask me where my car was many times and asked if I could drop her off at home, but with those other comments of hers in mind, I didn't attach too much urgency to her wanting to get dropped at home.

Her knee is stiff, but she's demonstrating amazing shoulder flexibility in the way she gets her coat on and off, sort of up and over her head and behind.
