After breakfast I visited our friends' garden where I spotted that the peach trees were in bloom, so I tied my Martenitsi to one. Later my student tied hers to the other. Hopefully they will bring fertility to the trees.

We didn't need to go back to Google today, so my student and I visited Paris. She'd never been to France before so she was excited to see places like Notre Dame and The Louvre. We also visited the Orangerie and Musee d'Orsay [see extra] where we enjoyed the impressionists. Then, before we flew back to Scotland, we went up the Eiffel Tower, something I'd not done for 46 years!
