Magnify

I've had this old lens since we cleared out my mother's house in 1999. I'm guessing that it's Victorian but that's only because it's brass mounted and I have no idea what it's original use might have been.

It's not been a day for outside photography as it's been throwing it down all day. I read something about using a magnifying glass as an additional lens. I didn't really use it in the arty way that was described, I just faffed about with it in front of this poinsettia to see what would happen. Nothing spectacular but it makes a different sort of blip so that'll do for a rainy day.
