A blue view

I went to art this morning and discussed the "painting by numbers" type workshop that we attended last week (blipped here). It turned out that I was well outnumbered in my view. There was only the teacher and myself that thought that his teaching was poor. The others liked having a good painting to take home (some have framed their identical pictures) and are booking up for another class in September. Needless to say that I won't be amongst them!

This afternoon I walked round the castle for a blip and disturbed a pair of magpies. This is not the best bird shot that I've ever taken as it's head isn't on the photo but illustrates the magpie's beautiful plumage.
