What to do when there is no blip offering itself up to the can? Perhaps a bunch of spring onions lingering in the fridge might be happy to have its day in the limelight. And with a click of my finger, eh voilà! The onions were bought to add some taste to the tub of fat free cottage cheese, something which should not be hard, given the blandness of the latter.

So far, today has been given over to a coffee get together with neighbours. This is quite an event given that we live in a community of young business people out at work and students who appear to think anyone with a bus pass is invisible. There are only a few older households like us and it is seldom that we manage to congregate.
