Luxury hotel
This morning Dornie, Shuna and I ended up having our final walk at Cashel Native Forest, simply because the gate at Milarrochy was still closed at 9 o'clock. It's several years since I've ventured further up the eastern shores of Loch Lomond, but I remembered visiting Cashel with a friend and thinking it was a good place to walk dogs.
The steep hill at Cashel means that the views of the loch and its islands are wonderful, and I had to stop frequently to recover my breath reassure myself I wasn't having a heart attack admire the view and take some photos. I've popped a couple into my blipfolio.
If you look closely on large at the bottom log, you'll see that today's blip is an insect hotel, one of the attractions in the forest to visitors with an interest in creepy crawlies. I'm sure the local insect population appreciates such luxurious accommodation, but I didn't inspect it too closely...
