A Highland welcome
Finally have the pals visting from Edinburgh, and despite the miserable weather we decided to have a family BBQ to welcome them. Lots of food and drink, and naturally a tweed hat got us all in the mood for a celiidh (queue Ronnie (local crofter/adopted Granpda) and his Gaelic songs).
The night pretty quickly descended into chaos though, with the BBQ being turned into a make shift camp fire, an impromptu rendition of "When the saints come marching in" (accompanied by a flute, piano and guitar), the cereal box game, and press up competitions. Needless to say we all enjoyed it!
