Shine on

A very soft grey blue day today. As things warm up the haar (sea fog) rolls in and everything becomes a hazy mixture of land, sea and sky. Which the sun meanders through with brighter patches here and there. The one thing that shines out is the bright yellow of the daffodils. I don't know why but they seem to glow against the soft grey colours of everything else.

All of which means that this lot which line the side of the road opposite our kitchen window make washing the dishes a little bit cheerier.
