I was at a work event in ellon today. as I arrived I saw that my old school had been almost completely demolished. as a teenager I would have been delighted by this, but the old building pictured here was a lovely building - granite and full of lovely old wood, a traditional stage and old gym hall. it's just rubble now apart from the bit they've yet to knock down. I wonder what happened to all the old fixtures and fittings...shame. I learned german, chemistry, did all my exams and walked down a catwalk in a fashion show in there. in a sheer black top with no bra on which caused a wee hoohaa at the time.
