signs of spring...

...are in the air

or should i say - in the trees?

i don't recommend this at all - as it could be considered somewhat dangerous - but i really had no choice in the matter - for i was taken totally by surprise - as i was leaving the market in my car - out of the corner of my eye - i noticed what appeared to be a flowering tree - i had to do a double take - for i thought it couldn't possibly be - but sure enough it was - buds were beginning to blossom on a little tree - in march! - i quickly grabbed my phone to try and snap off a couple photos - this is why i say i don't recommend this - because surely you need to be having full attention on driving - especially in a busy parking lot - not lollygagging about trying to get a photo out the window of your car - i had no idea if it even worked or was in focus - and was fortunate no one was beeping their horn at me - talk about a blessing indeed

i admit it's not the greatest picture - but gets the point across well enough which is all i wanted to portray - for telling the story is what it's all about in my mind - the fact spring has truly sprung - brought a smile to my face and that was all it took to make it...
