Kirkjufell
Today we drove across the snaefells peninsula to the north side. Following yesterday's snow there was a good covering over the pass, but slightly less on the lower reaches of the northern side.
Our first stop was up on the pass. There was snow all around, and we got some good shots of a triangular hut against the snow (second extra).
Our next stop was at some icicles hanging down at the side of the road. We had fun finding shapes. After various stops around Kirkjufell and at lakes in the surrounding area we drove through to Grundarjforour for lunch at a cafe before doing more lakes in the afternoon.
The main blip is Kirkjufell taken late afternoon. We had fun here (though it was bitterly cold!) as there were reflections of the hill in some places.
The first extra is also from around this area, showing some of the frozen snow.
The last extra is a reflection from as a place called Bezerkjahraun that we found after lunch.
