Emergency blip

She's worked hard today. She's been tired but she's worked so hard. She got up quite early and we had breakfast together before she did practise. She did piano first then we spent some time on her new piece. B gave us the part for her, with chords marked.
Katies had fun turning it into a full score, coming up with the dynamics, flourishes and how we use the chords. We came up with an ending for it together and she's really excited to show B. We got her ready for school and did her clarinet practise. We cycled to school as we were running a bit late.

She was a bit grumpy when I picked her up from school as it was raining and she knew her bike would be a bit wet. We got home, with a little stop for a pudding treat from the shop, and got home to dry off. She went into her room "to get changed" but ended up dancing in there a while. She had a snack then came back to do some more music. We had a brilliant time on our piece together again & a while running through her clarinet pieces. She had a snuggle watching a cheapy film we picked up last night.
She had some homework reading and we had a story. She asked for "Tale as Old as Time" for her bedtime song & fell asleep humming along to it.

And two minutes later I realised I hadn't taken a photo of her today. So here we have the sheet music of our "piece of the day"- featuring the very beautiful flowers I was sent last week.
