Weybourne Station

Our walk today took us through Sheringham Park and out to Weybourne Station.   It was overcast and very windy again but from an easterly direction today which meant it was coming in off the North Sea and made it feel considerably colder too.
Weybourne Station is part of the Poppy Line and the trains are run for pleasure only (not a National Rail line).  It was closed today but during April - October you can hop on either a steam or diesel train which will take you from Sheringham Station to Holt Station, stopping at Weybourne en route.

Sheringham Park is renowned for its Rhododendrons and the extra is one of the early blooming varieties.   During April - June the park is ablaze with all the different species and many other shrubs too.   If you are in North Norfolk during this time it's well worth a visit.
