No hate here

I'm still adjusting to the time zone and am awake too early.

I speak to Angus who has successfully arrived in St Ives (near Cambridge) but is unsure how to get to the interview from Costa, so I do some Google map stuff.

And there's a voicemail from Scottish Enterprise to say we've got our innovation grant. Yay! Downside is that I need to join a video call with my partners to discuss next steps - and I'm not even out of bed.

At the client's, the projector has died again and five of the twelve laptops have been "harpooned" off the network and are unusable. I'm flexible, and tribulations really help bonding. But still...

At lunchtime I speak to Angus again. The interview went well and he's confident he'll get an offer. He's not impressed with Cambridge - more of a large town than a city - but he has enjoyed being out on his own in the world, traveling.

The sun is shining when I return to Phoenixville. I walk downtown, noting closed storefronts and new apartment blocks. At the Black Lab Bistro I over indulge. The salmon teriyaki is great, the pumpkin cheesecake interesting.

It's dark as I walk home. Straight to bed.
