New term, new season, new beginnings

These blossoms greeted me as I arrived back at school today. The tree is at the entrance to the school and I can see it as I sit at my desk. Another remarakable tree that goes through a cycle of change with the seasons.

It is refreshing to return to school after the winter holidays and there is even the smell of the new season. I had a lot to catch up with after three weeks of holidays like emails and new enrolments. It is always wonderful to reunite with fellow staff and see everybody looking relaxed again.
