M - Majestic Wreck

Our Wednesday paddlers group re-visited Quail Island today, after having visited Ripapa Island. There's heaps more history about Ripapa Island, but it can wait for another blip. As you will have seen, we went back to the barque 'Dana'-a', and I've got an image from alongside her. You'll be able to see some tiny kayaks at the far right end, giving you an idea of the barque's length. 
This is my entry for Wideangle Wednesday, with a theme of M - Majestic Wreck, and Mirror Calm. How wide is Wide?

Such a treat of a day. Overcast, but beautiful light, and mirror calm seas, until a light sou'easter got up mid-afternoon. We stayed out way too long and I got home later than I ever have after a Wednesday paddle.
