barn owl

I need to be in Cambridge tomorrow morning, so I left work  a little earlier today to get to Wicken Fen before dusk. My wish was to see barn owls, I got lucky. I also saw a marsh harrier which was also a real treat

Now I'm tempted to be early in the morning to try again. There can be an advantage to travelling with work :-) but I also now have work I need to do before tomorrow.
