Brownies in the Fairy Glen

Another Wintry day, freezing cold with sleet and rain showers and strong winds. About an Hour before our planned trip to the beach and the Fairy Glen it looked like I might need to cancel but I'm determined not to be beaten by the weather so we went ahead as planned. I'm so glad we did as, although it was cold, we had a super evening. Several of the girls made their Promise. It always amazes me how important it is to them so we like to make it special and something for them to remember.
One promise was taken on the beach where all the Brownies had made a special circle with stones and shells and the others took theirs in the Fairy Glen by the tree with the rope swing and exposed roots.
The girls each had a go on the exciting swing and then made big and small Fairy houses and as always we ran out of time so had to run back to the beach.

Hopefully they are all tired and tucked up in bed having sweet dreams
