A decade ago I fell in love with an American band called The Mammals http://www.themammals.love when I saw them perform at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival. I saw them play 5 times over one weekend and bought copies of all their albums.

They split up not long afterwards.

So much for my support!

A few weeks ago I was delighted to discover that they'd reformed in order to do their bit in opposition to the current President of the USA. Hurrah!

I've been in touch to ask whether they have any plans to play over here any time soon and apparently they do, although no dates have been announced so far.

They do have a new song out though. It's called 'Culture War' https://youtu.be/nfkywGHwr1s I love the simplicity of the video.
