Texture And Pattern

Visited daughter and son-in-law today, to see for myself how she is recovering from her operation.  Phone calls are no substitute for a hug.  I had hoped to get a shot of the frogs in their pond, but it was so windy and cold that they had all sensibly decided to hide at the bottom.  Their garden is full of interesting things to blip, but I decided to concentrate on this tree trunk.  Loved the textures, patterns and colours of the fungi and the lichen.
