Spring is Sprung
The first day of spring and right on schedule the bonsai horse-chestnut is bursting into life after its winter sabbatical. I'm hoping S won't chop it's head off again this year, though it doesn't seem to mind too much.
A day of doing odd jobs around the house and in the neighbourhood, with a tenpin practice thrown in for good measure. The practice form was much better than the real thing in our final league game of the season but the team finally played well. We've left it too late though and finished third, so no promotion I'm afraid. Pity, I was hoping we'd jump straight back up it's not to be. Time to focus on the match play competitions now.
