Lonesome Lake

A trip to Lonesome Lake. The weather was perfect with no clouds and this year the lake was still frozen! Snow depth was a respectable 52 inches and the trails were well packed. Our group took about 90 minutes to hike the trail from the Lafayette campground up to the lake. Hiking and sliding in the afternoon followed by black belt bananagrams, Will on the guitar and dinner in the AMC Hut. The bunkhouses are not heated so you need a good sleeping bag!
