1st day of Spring

Delighted to see my first bumblebee of the year today, especially after just finishing entomologist Dave Goulson's 'A Sting in the Tale' (highly recommended reading btw). I also saw frogspawn on campus - appropriate for the first day of Spring. Not so Spring-like is the heavy snow we have forecast overnight and for the next couple of days.
