A b/w Boaby Birthday....

The first day of spring today . Just a pity that no one told Mother Nature who couldn't make her mind up, so gave us all 4 seasons in the one day.
Also a couple of birthdays. The terrier pup was 1 year old , and muggins here was a fair bit more than that.
A day spent as usual feeding, mucking out and bedding coos and trying to avoid all things woolly.
Decided to give the wee McCormick tractor a good greasing only to discover the centre bearing in the 4wd shaft had collapsed and a couple of bolts had worked loose . After some swearing , some spanners and a large hammer managed to get it all stripped down ready for the new bearing ( which of course the dealer didn't have in stock ) So it will need to be a 2wd tractor for a day or two.
A few birthday phone calls today starting with brother in Australia and ending with cousin and uncle in Renfrewshire. As Busby says It's good to talk ( as long as it's cheap rate after 6pm )
Also noticed the candles on the cake said 180 . Don't ask me why ?
