Derwentwater

After yesterday's exertions I had a quiet day with Mum whilst Mr Rat went back into Scotland for some more mud! (Criffel hill race, very soggy apparently and much of it barely runnable except for the elite).
The day started very wet but began to clear after lunch and mid-afternoon I went to stretch my legs with a walk to Friar's Crag, a lot of others seemed to have had the same idea. The sun was just about breaking through and later it did actually come out.
I thought this worked quite well in monochrome.
