Farming Community

There is not a great deal of farming in this area now as most of the land is being used for housing development.  This farm is close by and still used for cattle over the winter.  The rest of the 'farm' is a dump for a builder and has a host of useless and unwanted items.  There is still a couple of tractors and bales of hay for the cows. These 'lads' are very skittish and nervous and only interested in me just in case I was bringing more food.  I have no idea whose bike it is but there didn't seem to be anyone else around.  Once, this was a thriving farming community.

This was my first walk there without the dog; it was strange.  She is missed for lots of little things and even the cat can't quite understand why things are different.
