The Queen of the South

Set off after lunch down the M74 to Dumfries where I'll be working tomorrow. Sleet, even snow over Beattock, but a lovely late afternoon walk by the Nith when we arrived. This is at Dock Park; a great place to wander with beautiful views of the river. I was surprised to see the new leaves on the horse chestnut trees - but we are in the far south I suppose.
